Nothing compliments the preaching of God's Word more than beautiful,
Christ-centered music! God has sent many gifted musicians to
Lighthouse Baptist Church who are willing to use their talents to
adorn the Word of God's preaching.
We use everyone from young beginners to those who have sung and/or
played an instrument all their lives.
The areas of music in our services currently are:
-A mixed adult choir in each Sunday service and cantatas
-Instrumental offertories at each service
-Children's choir at least once a month
-A small orchestra accompanies Sunday evening's hymns and does
specials
-Christ honoring hymns in every service in which all are welcome to
participate
A music ministry can either enhance a service or be its own
distraction in a service.
At LBC it is our mission to only bring glory to God and His
Word in every service through our music!
The Lord can use YOU!
At the present time the band consists of:
One Trumpet
One Cornet
One Flute
One Clarinet
Accompanied by Piano.
We play along with the congregation Sunday nights and also play special music as directed by our Music Director.
We are always looking for faithful and musically competent church members to add to our band.
