We have used clip art from www.webweaver.nu, and www.christart.com, with permission.
Most of our reference material came from the website of the First Baptist Church of McDonald, www.firstbaptistmcdonald.org, with permission. Thanks, Gale.
Our website is hosted by IFB Technologies, Inc. We use the ChurchWeb software, which is licensed from IFB, and are very happy with it. Our webhost contact, Jeremy, has been incredibly helpful in getting us up and running, as well as making modifications to the ChurchWeb code to accomodate special requests. See www.ifbtech.com for their contact details.
We use the Snosh program for encoding flash animations of slide shows and movie. Snosh does not allow the importation of multiple stills, so we create a movie from the stills with Windows Movie Maker, then import it into Snosh to create the flash movie. The Swish program is also available for this task, and is much more flexible and expensive. Up until recently, we used Windows Media Player to downsample and encode audio files to wma format, at very low bit rates. About 12MB is required for a little over an hour of speech. However, we are experimenting with the LAME front end mp3 encoder, which is available in several versions, and promises to provide smaller files, which are also more compatible across platforms.
